Serious Crash Halts London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

A crash involving four vehicles has left several injured at Reigate Hill this morning (5 November). Among the cars was a rare 1902 Benz taking part in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.

Crash Details

  • The collision happened around 11.35am.
  • Vehicles involved: a silver Ford C-Max, 1902 Benz, Mercedes GLE, and Fiat Fourini.
  • The Benz was part of the famous Veteran Car Run.

Injuries and Emergency Response

Two people in the Benz suffered serious injuries. One was airlifted to hospital while the other was rushed by road. Four more – two from the Benz and two from the C-Max – were treated for minor injuries and taken to hospital.

The road remains closed both ways as emergency services, including fire and ambulance crews, manage the scene.
