Tragic Crash in Kings Worthy Leaves Two Dead, One Seriously Injured
Police are hunting for witnesses after a deadly smash in Kings Worthy in the early hours of Monday, 26 March. At 1.50am, officers rushed to the A33 Basingstoke Road following reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a silver BMW 316.
Two Dead at Scene
The driver, a 27-year-old man from Basingstoke, and his front-seat passenger, a 27-year-old woman also from Basingstoke, were pronounced dead on the spot. Specialist officers have informed their families and are offering support.
Passenger Seriously Injured
The rear-seat passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Basingstoke, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Police Seek Witnesses
Sgt Rik Grant from the Joint Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw the silver BMW 316 before or during the crash. Every detail, no matter how small, could help our enquiries.”
