Police Hunt Two After Heavitree Burglary and Fraud Spree

Devon & Cornwall Police have launched a public appeal to crack a burglary and fraud case in Exeter’s Heavitree area. Officers want to ID a man and woman linked to the theft.

Cash and Cards Stolen in Broad Daylight Raid

The crime happened between 4pm and 5pm on Friday, March 14. A burglar broke into a home and snatched a woman’s purse stuffed with cash and bank cards.

Minutes later, one of the stolen cards was used to withdraw money, escalating the crime from theft to fraud.

Police Release CCTV Shots of Suspects

In a bid to track down the culprits, police have released images of a man and woman caught on CCTV. They believe these two could hold key info to help solve the case.

“We are keen to speak to the man and woman pictured as they may have vital information that could help us progress this case,” a Devon & Cornwall Police spokesperson said.

“If you recognise them or have any information, please get in touch.”
