Police have launched a renewed appeal for information in the baffling case of Deborah “Debbie” Steel, who vanished without a trace 27 years ago in Ely. The 37-year-old disappeared on the night of December 27, 1997, after finishing her shift as landlady of The Royal Standard pub.
