Edinburgh Hit-and-Run Shocker: Man Struck by 4×4 After Street Brawl
Drama hit Stenhouse Grove, Edinburgh, on the evening of Wednesday, 7 April 2021. At around 7.25pm, police responded to reports of a scuffle between two men.
4×4 Driver Rams Victim and Flees
Moments later, a black 4×4 was seen deliberately ploughing into one of the men on nearby Stenhouse Street West. The victim was knocked to the ground before the vehicle sped off. The man then ran from the scene.
Police Hunt Blonde-Haired Suspect
- Driver described as white, 20s, slim build, 5ft 10.
- Gaunt face, short blonde/brown hair.
- Wearing a light top and grey jogging bottoms.
- Spoke with a local accent.
Detective Sergeant Dougal Begg said: “Our priority is to find the man struck by the vehicle to ensure he is safe and receives any medical help needed. We urge him to contact police.”
He added: “The victim is described as white, aged 20-30, medium build, possibly brown hair, wearing a beige jumper and grey jogging bottoms. He was assaulted on Stenhouse Grove, then hit by a black 4×4 with a male passenger before being thrown into a hedge.”
