Horrific dog attack in Yorkshire fields leaves pet dead

Early on Sunday, 16 April, a peaceful walk turned tragic for a woman and her dogs near Maltby and Braithwell.

Fatal Attack in the Fields

At around 6:25am, the woman was crossing fields with her two dogs when she encountered a man walking three dogs. Suddenly, two of his dogs attacked her five-year-old dog, Tadi, who sadly died from the injuries.

Man Flees Without Details

The man fled the scene with all three dogs, refusing to provide any contact details to the distressed woman.

His two unleashed dogs are described as black lurcher-bulldog crosses. He also had a cream puppy with him.

Police Appeal for Info

The man is white, aged between 35 and 45, with dark hair and a medium build.

South Yorkshire Police urge anyone with information to call 101 and quote crime number 181 of 17 April.
