Knife Drama Rocks Croydon in Early Hours
Just after 2am on Sunday, police rushed to Watteau Square, Croydon, following reports of a man armed with a knife at a party. They found a young man, around 20, suffering knife injuries.

A large crowd from a nearby bash grew aggressive, hurling objects at officers. Reinforcements arrived to handle the situation, treat the injured, and break up the unruly group. By 3.30am, everyone had dispersed.
Wounded Man Stable, Police on High Alert
The victim was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. No officers were hurt during the chaos. To keep things under control, police slapped a Section 35 dispersal order on Broad 1 ward.
Extra patrols are planned for Sunday evening to keep the peace.
