Teen Thugs Attack Girl in Broad Daylight at Popular Park
A 13-year-old girl was viciously attacked by a gang of teenage girls near the tennis courts in Buckingham Park on Monday afternoon.
Outrage as Girl’s Phone Smashed in Brutal Assault
The shocking incident unfolded at around 1.45pm on April 11. The group of teens approached the victim, launched a violent assault, and smashed her mobile phone before fleeing the scene.
12-Year-Old Arrested Over ‘Actual Bodily Harm’
Police have arrested a 12-year-old girl on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and criminal damage. She has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
PC Kerry Sargent said: “This was a violent assault in a popular park in broad daylight and we are asking anybody who saw what happened or has any information which could help with our investigation to come forward.”
