Serious Crash in Bromley Leaves Pedestrian Fighting for Life
Police are urgently seeking witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision on Bromley Common.
Collision Details
The crash happened around 6.49pm on Thursday, 12 March. A blue VW Polo, heading towards Orpington, struck a 58-year-old man walking on Bromley Common.
The pedestrian is now in critical condition in a London hospital. The VW driver was not arrested and is cooperating with police.
Police Launch Investigation
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are leading the probe. They want to speak to anyone driving along Bromley Common at about 6.40pm who might have dashcam footage showing what happened before the crash.
