Chaos in Gedling: Man Hit by Car During Weapon Fight
A violent brawl erupted in Perlethorpe Close, Gedling, with weapons reportedly involved. Police were called to the scene shortly before 7pm on Monday, 3 July.

During the chaos, a man was hit by a car and rushed to hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

On Tuesday, officers arrested two men aged 32 and 22 on suspicion of affray. Investigations continue as police seek others involved in the fight.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detective Inspector Simon Harrison of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Since this happened in broad daylight, we urge anyone who saw the incident to come forward immediately.”
“Motorists who captured dashcam footage are especially urged to get in touch. Your footage could be crucial to our investigation.”
