Tragic Crash on Blind Foot Road Leaves Man Dead
Police were called just after 10am today following a collision between a Renault Scenic and a Nissan Almera at the junction of Blind Foot Road and Mossborough Road.
Driver Dies, Others Seriously Injured
The 31-year-old driver of the Nissan was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
The Renault’s driver and passenger, a man and a woman, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigation Underway
Officers are investigating the crash and are carrying out witness and CCTV enquiries in the local area.
Sergeant Simon Duffy of Merseyside Police said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the driver who very sadly passed away.
“This investigation is in its early stages. We urge anyone who was near Blind Foot Road or Mossborough Road and saw anything—or has dashcam footage—to get in touch.”
