Woman’s Car and Cards Stolen in Southsea Heist

In the early hours of 2 August, a woman in her 20s had her car keys and bank cards swiped from Percy Road, Southsea. Later that same day, she discovered her car was missing and received alerts from her bank showing her cards were used at multiple locations, including one on Commercial Road.

Car Found After Crash, Suspect Arrested

Her stolen car was found following a minor single-vehicle crash on Kings Road on 12 August. Police arrested a 34-year-old portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth man on suspicion of burglary. He has since been released under investigation as the probe continues.

Police Seek Public Help with CCTV Images

Officers have now released CCTV footage of a man they believe holds key information. They urge anyone who recognises him to come forward and assist the investigation.
