Woman Found Dead in Rugby Home – Murder Probe Underway
Police are hunting for answers after a woman in her 40s was found dead inside a Rugby house.
Officers were called to Featherbed Lane shortly after 3pm on Sunday, 12 April, where the grim discovery was made.
Man Arrested Over Suspected Murder
A 47-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed as the investigation unfolds.
Investigation Ongoing as Police Await Post-Mortem
Detective Inspector Collette O’Keefe of Warwickshire Police said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained, and we are awaiting the results of a post-mortem. Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
