Man Attacked in Broad Daylight Near Train Station

A man in his 30s was set upon while walking from the train station into town just after 10pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Three Suspects Turn on Phone Lights and Begin Shouting

The victim was spotted by three youths who lit up their phones and pursued him shouting. Near the Tannery Lane junction, one of them threw a punch. The man tried to run, but two boys continued to beat him, leaving him with cuts and bruises to the face.

Details of Suspects Released

  • Two boys aged 16-19, accompanied by a girl
  • One suspect: white male, grey top covering his face
  • Second suspect: mixed race, all black clothing, yellow ski mask

Cops Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

The victim escaped with the help of a passing driver who offered a ride to safety. Police now want anyone who saw the attack or has CCTV or dashcam clips from Station Road to come forward.

“Anyone in the area who saw suspicious behaviour is urged to contact Kent Police,” said officers.
