Wrong-Way Van Sparks Early Morning Crash
Surrey Police have released shocking images showing the aftermath of a major collision on the A3 near Guildford. At 2am on Sunday, officers were called after reports of a van driving the wrong way – northbound on the southbound carriageway.
The van smashed into two cars, leaving all three vehicles heavily damaged. Miraculously, no one was seriously hurt.
Minor Injuries, But Big Questions Remain
“Officers arrived shortly after the crash between Thursley and Guildford,” said Surrey Police. “Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance, while two others left with family members.”
Sgt Dan Ayrton is now urging witnesses to come forward. He wants anyone who saw the van or has dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch.
Police Plea: Help Solve the Mystery
Police add a person connected to the incident is currently assisting with enquiries. When asked if the van driver was still at the scene when officers arrived, they replied the investigation is ongoing.
