Milton Keynes Man Dies in Suspicious Towan Avenue Incident – Murder Probe Launched

Unresponsive Man Found on Pavement

Just before 1am on Monday, a passerby alerted police to a man lying unresponsive on the pavement in Towan Avenue, near the Polruan Place roundabout in Fishermead. Concerned members of the public rushed to help and even drove the man to hospital, but tragically he was later pronounced dead.

Murder Investigation Underway

Detectives have now stepped in, treating the death as suspicious. Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Nicola Douglas, confirmed: “Thames Valley Police has launched a murder investigation.” The victim is believed to be a 35-year-old Milton Keynes man. “Specially trained officers are supporting his next of kin. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

Suspect Arrested, Community Reassured

A 34-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Detective Inspector Douglas added: “We believe the victim and suspect knew each other. There is no ongoing risk to the public.” The scene at Towan Avenue has been cleared, and the Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
