Nottingham city centre was hit by a brazen tyre-slashing spree overnight. Three vans and three cars parked on Park Row and East Circus Street had their tyres punctured by a sharp object in the early hours of Thursday, 16 March 2023.

Police Release CCTV Snaps of Suspect

Authorities have now issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to regarding the criminal damage. The suspect is described as an older white male with white hair and a beard. He was wearing glasses, a flat cap, and an orange knee-length high-visibility jacket. Witnesses say he may have a limp.

Police Vow to Find the Tyre Terrorist

Police Constable Madison Moss-Hayes from Nottinghamshire Police slammed the senseless act:

“This was an extensive act of criminal damage causing entirely needless inconvenience and financial impact. Irresponsible acts like this won’t be tolerated and I can reassure people that our inquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible for this unacceptable behaviour.”
