Three Arrested as Missing Southampton Woman’s Case Turns to Murder Probe
Detectives have made a major move in the mysterious disappearance of Joanne Sheen. Police arrested three men today (November 2), escalating the case to a murder investigation.
Joanne Sheen Vanished Months Ago
Jo, from Southampton, was last seen on December 5, 2019, when she travelled with a friend from Fareham back to Southampton. Her family reported her missing on February 22 this year after months of silence.
Despite ongoing appeals for information since April, Joanne remains missing and no trace of her has been found.
Suspects Held on Conspiracy to Murder Charges
- A 50-year-old Southampton man
- A 63-year-old Southampton man
- A 29-year-old man from Basingstoke
All three are currently in police custody, held on conspiracy to murder charges as Hampshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Team leads the investigation.
