Officers rushed to a home on Suffolk Road just before 5.30am on Sunday 23 June. Inside, they found Lucy Rushton, also known as Lucy Dyson, who was later pronounced dead at the scene. Her devastated family have been informed and are getting support from specialist officers.

A 28-year-old man from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
