Man, 24, Stabbed in West Derby – Three Arrested in Shocking Attack
Critical Stabbing on Carr Lane East
At around 6.30pm yesterday, police rushed to Carr Lane East after reports a 24-year-old man was stabbed. The victim suffered serious chest and leg wounds and was quickly taken to hospital by ambulance. His condition is currently critical.
Three Arrested Over Attempted Murder
Officers have arrested a 44-year-old man from Liverpool on suspicion of attempted murder. In addition, two Liverpool women, aged 46 and 49, were also detained on suspicion of attempted murder and wounding with intent. All three remain in police custody as the investigation unfolds.
Ongoing Investigation and Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon revealed the attack stemmed from an altercation at a Carr Lane East address. Forensic teams are combing the scene, while house-to-house and CCTV enquiries continue.
“We currently have three people in custody but our enquiries remain ongoing. If you have any information or dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, please get in touch,” DI Dillon urged.
