Five Injured as Car Ploughs Into Pedestrians on St Ann’s Road

Chaos erupted at 6.10pm on Thursday, August 25, when a car smashed into a group of pedestrians on St Ann’s Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene, including police, London Ambulance Service, and an air ambulance.

Paramedics treated five injured victims. Thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. The wounded were quickly stabilised and taken for further care.

Driver Detained, Police Investigate

Officers arrested the driver, a man believed to be in his 60s, who remains in custody as police probe the incident. Authorities have ruled out terrorism as a cause.
