Massive Diesel Lorry Blaze Rocks Mulberry Farm

Emergency crews raced to Mulberry Farm, Station Road, just after 1.40am on 22 March. Locals reported a terrifying fire and multiple explosions shaking the area.

20 Firefighters Battle Blazing Lorries

Over 20 firefighters fought the fierce flames consuming eight lorries, each loaded with 250-300 litres of diesel. The scene was dangerous and intense as the blaze roared through the vehicles.

Police Launch Full Investigation

Detectives swiftly moved in, collecting CCTV footage, forensic clues, and going door to door to gather information. Detective Inspector Verity McCann appealed to the public:

“I would like to hear from anyone in the Longstanton area before the fire who saw or heard anything. Please contact police, any detail, no matter how small, could help.”
