Two Men Pulled Off Daring Luxury Watch Robbery
Police are urgently hunting two suspects after a bold smash-and-grab at Mappin & Webb on East Street, Chichester. Around 2pm on Saturday, the pair made off with a haul of high-value watches worth approximately £120,000. They fled on foot along St John’s Street, vanishing before cops could catch them.
Suspects’ Descriptions Released
- Suspect One: White male, skinny build, black baseball cap, sunglasses, beige or grey top, skinny blue jeans, white trainers.
- Suspect Two: White male, average build, black jumper, black cap with white “H,” blue jeans, black trainers.
Witnesses report the men darted across the street near East Street and St John’s Street junction, narrowly avoiding a black or blue vehicle.
Police Seek Witnesses and Vehicle Driver
Officers are especially keen to trace the driver of the mysterious black or blue car seen near the getaway. Authorities urge anyone who was on St John’s Street at the time, or who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward immediately.
“We’re urging all witnesses to get in touch and help us track down these suspects,” said a police spokesperson.
