“Police in Lambeth conducted an operation to execute three warrants at residential properties in Acre Lane and Lakeview Road on Sunday August 15,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson. “The operation is part of an intelligence-led investigation into drugs supply and remains ongoing. The operation is not terror-related.”

Drugs Takedown Continues

The Met are keeping tight-lipped as the investigation moves forward. Local residents watched on as officers decked out in heavy protective gear carried out searches, highlighting the serious nature of the crackdown on organised crime in the area.
