Southampton Murder Shocker: Five Men Arrested After Fatal Stabbing

Police in Hampshire have launched a murder probe after a 19-year-old man was found dead with a chest puncture wound in Southampton yesterday afternoon.

Five Arrested as Murder Investigation Heats Up

At 12.21pm on 24 July, officers rushed to Langhorn Road following reports of a serious assault. Sadly, the young victim was pronounced dead at hospital.

In a major breakthrough, police have arrested five men from Hampshire and London in connection with the killing:

  • A 46-year-old man from Bursledon, arrested for murder and assisting an offender
  • A 20-year-old man from Bursledon, arrested for murder
  • A 20-year-old man from Hamble, arrested for murder
  • A 23-year-old man from Eastleigh, arrested for murder
  • A 35-year-old man from Lambeth, arrested for murder

All remain in police custody as inquiries continue.

Police Seek Witnesses and Appeal for Information

Detective Chief Inspector Danielle Daltrey expressed heartfelt condolences to the victim’s family and urged locals to come forward.

“We take all incidents of serious violence in Southampton extremely seriously. While the investigation is in its early stages, we do not believe there is a wider threat to the public.” “Did you see anything suspicious? Do you have dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage? No detail is too small.”

A crime scene remains in place on Langhorn Road while officers also search properties in Le Marechal Avenue and Westfield Road nearby.
