Motorcyclist Dies in Horror Crash on Bognor Regis Bypass

Tragedy struck on the A259 Bognor Regis bypass around 10pm on Saturday (17 July) when a Ford Tourneo collided with a Honda motorcycle. The rider, a 57-year-old man from Basingstoke, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Car Driver and Passengers Hurt but Survive

The Ford’s driver, a 69-year-old man, and three passengers — including a 32-year-old woman and three children aged 1 — suffered minor injuries. They were rushed to hospital for treatment.

Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward

Officers have informed the motorcyclist’s next of kin. They’re now appealing for anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage to get in touch.
