Shots Fired in East London: Three Arrested in Attempted Murder Probe

Just after 2am on Wednesday, 14 July, police were scrambled to Cyprus Street, E2, following reports of three gunshots fired at a residence. Miraculously, no one was hurt in the terrifying incident.

Trident Crack Down: Three Men Arrested

Fast forward to the early hours of Wednesday, 25 August, and Trident officers swooped on an address in E14. Two men, aged 44 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Meanwhile, a 24-year-old was picked up in E1, suspected of conspiracy to murder. All three remain in police custody in east London.

Detective Pleads for Public Help

“The fact that this incident didn’t have fatal consequences was pure luck,” said Detective Inspector Matt Webb. “Though arrests have been made, we still need anyone with info to come forward. Your tip could take a deadly weapon off the streets. Don’t hesitate – make the call.”
