Man Killed in Brutal Hit-and-Run in Walton-on-Thames
Surrey and Sussex Major Crime officers have launched a murder probe after a man was fatally hit in a shocking hit-and-run on Church Street, Walton-on-Thames this afternoon.
Driver Flees After Road Rage Horror
Emergency teams, including two air ambulances, police, and paramedics, rushed to the scene shortly after 2.15pm on Thursday. Witnesses say the driver was involved in a fight moments before mowing down the victim and speeding off.
Police Hunting Hit-and-Run Driver
Despite frantic attempts to save him, the man died at the scene. Detectives are now scouring local shops for CCTV footage to track down the culprit and their vehicle.
A Surrey Police spokesman said: “We are on scene following an incident in Church Street in #Walton-on-Thames, which happened around 2.15pm today. We are currently trying to establish the circumstances of what has taken place and will provide further updates as soon as we have more information.”
