Man Nabbed at Gatwick in Terror Probe
A 25-year-old man was arrested early this morning at Gatwick Airport on terror suspicion. Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command swooped around 4am after the suspect landed on a flight from Turkey.
Charged Under Terrorism Act
The man faces allegations of possessing material likely to aid terrorist activity, breaching section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000. He was detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act and is now held at a central London police station.
