Man Found Dead in Newport Flat – Murder Probe Underway
Police rushed to a flat on George Street on the afternoon of Tuesday 4 January 2022. Inside, they discovered the body of 33-year-old Scott Edward Cooper from Newport.
Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers as the investigation heats up.
Murder Investigation Ongoing
Detectives are treating Scott’s death as murder. Three suspects have been arrested and remain in custody as inquiries continue.
