Sussex Police Hunt Two Boys Over Violent Hove Attack
Sussex Police have launched a manhunt after a brutal assault on a 16-year-old boy at Hove Lawns on the evening of Friday, July 19. The victim, who was with a group of young people, was viciously attacked around 8pm, leaving him with a broken jaw and in need of hospital treatment.
Victim Suffers Broken Jaw in Shocking Assault
The violent attack forced the teenager to seek urgent medical care. Officers believe the group involved moved from Hove Lawns through central Brighton, passing Churchill Square and onto Queens Road.
CCTV Released as Police Seek Two Key Suspects
Police have released CCTV images of two boys or young men they want to identify and question about the incident. Descriptions include:
- First suspect: Black polo shirt with white arm bands, black bandana, and black trousers.
- Second suspect: White T-shirt, light blue baseball or snapback cap, grey trousers or joggers, and carrying a black bag with strap across his chest.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Sussex Police are appealing for anyone with information or footage from the area to help the investigation. This includes CCTV, dashcam, doorbell, or mobile phone videos captured around the time of the attack.
