Police Release New Image of Suspect in Child Sexual Assault Case

Detectives hunting a man linked to the sexual assault of a young boy have released a fresh image in a bid to track him down. The shocking attack happened just after midnight on Saturday, 23 November, at a home on The Greenway, Ickenham.

The culprit got inside without breaking in and targeted the boy in his bedroom. He ran off after the victim threatened to call the police.

New CCTV Picture from Underground Station

The latest image comes from a local underground station’s CCTV. Detective Sergeant David Baldwin of the West Area Command Unit appealed to the public: “This is our second appeal to identify this man. We’re grateful for the tips we’ve received so far, but we still haven’t named this suspect.”

He confirmed the investigation is ongoing and said the boy and his family are receiving specialist support. “We are not disclosing the boy’s age to protect his identity,” Baldwin added.

Suspect’s Movements and Description

  • The suspect was seen boarding the E7 bus before taking an underground train.
  • He is described as white, slim, with short hair and a beard.
  • His clothing: blue jeans, a t-shirt, and a dark coat.

Detectives have yet to make an arrest but say their investigation is ‘well-resourced’ and ongoing.

Public Urged to Report Any Information

Anyone who recognises the man or was near The Greenway around the time of the attack is urged to call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 145/23NOV. Cops warn everyone to keep homes secure and report suspicious behaviour immediately.
