Missing 12-Year-Old Leona Peach Found Safe After Police Hunt

Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed that 12-year-old Leona Peach, missing from Newton Abbot since Monday 20 December, has been found safe and well.

Massive Search Operation Cracks Case Near Boston

The breakthrough came after a joint operation with Lincolnshire Police and child services from both Devon and Lincolnshire. Officers searched an address near Boston this afternoon and located Leona.

She is now receiving ongoing support from specialist officers and child services to ensure her wellbeing.

Man Arrested on Suspicion of Kidnap

During the search, police arrested a 34-year-old Devon man on suspicion of child abduction and kidnap. He will be transferred back to Devon and Cornwall police custody for questioning.

“Officers would like to thank the public for their support in helping us locate Ms Peach,” said Devon & Cornwall Police.
