Kent Police are hunting burglars who raided a rural property near Bethersden overnight, making off with a haul of high-value power tools and bikes.
Thieves Smash Hedge to Steal Big
The burglary happened sometime between 5pm on Thursday, 31 July, and 7am the following morning on Old Surrenden Manor Road — a quiet country lane linking Bethersden and Chilmington Green.
The crooks damaged a boundary hedge to break into a storage facility outside a home. They then nabbed numerous expensive items before vanishing without a trace.
Police Launch Dashcam Appeal
Kent Police want anyone who drove along these roads between 9pm and 11pm on the night of the burglary to check dashcams for anything suspicious:
- Old Surrenden Manor Road
- Kiln Lane
- A28 Ashford Road
