Kent Police Launch Urgent Appeal After Fatal Canterbury Crash

Kent Police are hunting for witnesses following a deadly smash in Canterbury on Monday, 5 August 2024.

Deadly Collision on Stone Street

The crash happened around 3:55pm on Stone Street, between Stelling and Farthing Common. A red Yamaha Fazer motorbike, heading towards Hythe, collided with a blue Vauxhall Grandland Elite and a grey Isuzu horsebox.

Tragically, the rider, a 36-year-old man from Dymchurch, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Crash Investigation Underway

Detectives are probing the circumstances of the collision, which may have involved a stationary grey Nissan Navara and trailer. They are eager to speak to anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage.
