An Isle of Wight police dog handler enjoyed a cracking night on the beat, thanks to his trusty canine, Chase. During a routine patrol in the early hours of Thursday, the officer spotted a suspicious vehicle.
The driver and passengers took off, but the officer unleashed PD Chase, who gave chase. After a short but intense pursuit on foot, the fleeing suspects were caught after a tense game of hide and seek.
PD Chase Sniffs Out Big Haul
Tonight, Chase was on top form, easily sniffing out a stash of Class A and Class B drugs. The man caught was promptly detained.
Dealer Busted, Drugs Off the Streets
With one dealer behind bars and a major drug haul recovered, it’s a big win for Isle of Wight Police. The suspect remains in custody at Newport Police Station as the investigation continues.
