Pub Boss Furious After Brutal Weekend Brawl
Marcus, owner of the West Town Inn, has hit out at a violent mob that tore through Station Road in the early hours of Saturday night. In a fiery statement, he blasted the unruly gang of around 30 youths, calling them “complete moronic idiots” and threatening serious consequences.
‘The Mob’ Wrecks Peaceful Island Night
After three years of investing heavily to make the West Town Inn a family-friendly spot, Marcus was left devastated by the scenes of mayhem. “What’s the bloody point of offering a safe, friendly place when a mob of 18–24 year olds come along and throw fists over a broken relationship?” he raged.
Marcus apologised to his neighbours and law-abiding customers for the unthinkable chaos caused by the rioting youths. CCTV footage of the brawl has been handed over to police, and Marcus promises a full crackdown. “Expect a knock on your door soon if you were part of that mob,” he warns.
Banned For Life: No More Troublemakers Allowed
The pub owner isn’t messing around. Every individual involved – from punches thrown to abusive shouting – will be barred permanently from the West Town Inn. “Do not try to sneak in. We have CCTV, and you will be refused service forever,” Marcus warned.
Starting immediately, the pub will enforce a strict 21 and over age limit for Friday and Saturday nights after 9pm. Exceptions apply only to under-21s dining or attending authorised events, who will be issued special passes and ID checks will be enforced. If trouble flares again, Marcus says the minimum age will jump to 25.
Security Praised Amid Chaos
Despite the rampage, Marcus gave credit where due to his security team. “They stayed inside and protected staff and customers who weren’t involved. They don’t risk their lives breaking up mobs on the street.”
Marcus’s message is clear: the West Town Inn aims to be a safe, drama-free, and respected local pub. He vows to keep fighting for the community and stamping out bad behaviour once and for all.
“Thank you for your continued support,” he signed off. “We will continue to better ourselves and this business.”
