Radford Home Invasion Nightmare: Woman Woken by Intruder in Bedroom
Police have launched an urgent CCTV appeal after a shocking home invasion in Radford, Nottingham. The terrifying break-in happened at around 1:55 a.m. on Saturday, 8 March 2025, at a terraced house on Denman Street West.
What Went Down?
- A man sneaked into the house while the occupants were asleep.
- One woman was startled awake by the intruder standing in her bedroom.
- Another resident was disturbed in a different room.
- The burglar grabbed a hairdryer and made a quick getaway.
‘Terrifying Ordeal’ – Police React
Detective Sergeant Frank Guddemi of Nottinghamshire Police described the incident as:
“A terrifying ordeal for the victim. Although no one was physically harmed, the emotional trauma from such an intrusion is significant.”
Police say the burglary was opportunistic but left the victims deeply shaken. Detectives believe the man caught on CCTV could hold the key to cracking the case.
