Police launched an urgent underwater search at Shadwell Basin in Tower Hamlets last night.
The Met Police were called just after 6pm to Garnet Street, Wapping, after reports of someone entering the water.
The Marine Policing Unit and other emergency crews rushed to the scene and are currently searching the area.
