Paint Attack Chaos Hits Central London Government Buildings
London woke up to a string of brazen paint attacks targeting key government sites this morning. Officers swiftly responded, nabbing five suspects caught red-handed.
Thames House and News UK Targeted
At 8:20am, Thames House in Millbank was doused in paint. Police arrested one person for criminal damage by 8:45am.
Minutes later, at 8:29am, the News UK building near London Bridge was also sprayed. Another arrest followed at 8:46am.
Home Office and Bank of England Hit
- At 8:39am, two individuals sprayed the Home Office on Marsham Street. Both were arrested by 8:41am.
- Meanwhile, City of London Police detained two more people who wreaked havoc at the Bank of England on Threadneedle Street at around 8:30am.
Five Arrested, Taken Into Custody
All suspects have been taken to a central London police station for questioning. The coordinated paint attacks have sparked a strong law enforcement response across the capital.
