A man in his 40s was brutally stabbed in broad daylight on Leyton High Road this Sunday afternoon (11 May), sparking a rapid response from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service.

Police arrived at the scene at 4:06pm to find a 46-year-old man with stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where doctors confirmed his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing, a police spokesperson revealed.
