Teen Seriously Injured in Chatham Moped Crash
A teenage boy is fighting for recovery after a nasty collision between his blue Sinnis moped and a silver Vauxhall Vectra in Chatham.
The crash happened at the busy junction of North Dane Way and Lordswood Lane at around 5.30pm on Sunday, 24 November 2019. The boy was rushed to a London hospital and remains in serious but stable condition.
Police Hunt Key Witness in Chatham Crash
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is urgently seeking witnesses. They want to speak to the driver of a car who was ahead of the Vauxhall Vectra and turned onto Lordswood Lane just before the collision.
“We believe this driver may hold crucial information that could help us piece together what happened,” said a police spokesperson.
Dash Cam Drivers Urged to Come Forward
Anyone with dash cam footage showing either vehicle in the moments before the crash is urged to contact Kent Police immediately.
