16-Year-Old Boy Missing After Swimming Incident at Beckenham Park Place

A 16-year-old boy has vanished while swimming in a lake at Beckenham Park Place in Lewisham. The alarm was raised at around 3:08 PM on Friday, April 4, after the teen reportedly got into trouble in the water.

A major emergency response quickly swung into action, including the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade. The park was evacuated to aid the intensive search operation.

“Police were called at 3:08 PM to Beckenham Place Park. A 16-year-old boy is believed to have got into difficulty in the water and is now 123 after a teenager went missing while swimming on Wednesday.
