Serious Single-Car Smash Shakes East Ayrshire
A 19-year-old lad is battling for his life after a nasty one-car crash on the B743 in East Ayrshire. The blue Ford Focus driver slammed into trouble just before 7am on Friday, January 24.
Emergency crews rushed the teen to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition remains critical as medics fight to save him.

They’re asking anyone nearby at the time to come forward, especially if you’ve got dash-cam footage that could crack the case.
Sergeant Chris McColm of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash. We urge anyone in the area around the time of the incident to check their dash-cams. Any footage could be crucial for our investigation.”
