Teen Killed in Shocking Shepherd’s Bush Stabbing
A murder probe is underway after a 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in West London’s Shepherd’s Bush.
Double Stabbing on Erconwald Street
Police were called at 1:10pm on Saturday, 5 April, to reports of a stabbing near the junction of Erconwald Street, Du Cane Road, and Old Oak Common Lane. Officers and paramedics found two teenage boys with stab wounds.
Tragically, 17-year-old Keiron Charles from East Acton was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency efforts. A second boy, aged 16, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital before being discharged.
Two Teenagers Arrested
The injured 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. A third 16-year-old fled the scene initially but was later arrested early Sunday morning and is also in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Gammampila said: “This is an awful incident in which a teenager has lost his life. The thoughts of everyone in the Met remain with Keiron’s family and loved ones as they come to terms with their tragic loss.”
“Detectives have worked around the clock and made two arrests. We are not seeking anyone else at this stage but appeal to anyone in the area between 1pm and 1:20pm on Saturday to come forward.”

Community in Mourning
Keiron’s death has rocked the East Acton community. Locals have taken to social media to express grief and demand stronger action against youth violence.
