Man, 34, Dies in Horrific Brentford Blaze

For the first time, Ali Khan, 34, has been pictured following his death in a devastating Brentford house fire. The tragedy struck just after 4pm on Sunday, November 13, on Netley Road.

House Fire Claims Man and 16 Cats

The fire tore through the two-storey property, which was home not only to Ali but also 16 cats – all now feared dead after going missing. Firefighters battled the blaze for over two hours, with the house left completely destroyed. Gas cylinders were removed from the scene amid ongoing investigations.

Family Mourns as Emergency Services Respond

Ali’s mother, Bobbie Wason, 65, was at the house during the fire, alongside a 70-year-old homeless woman who remains in an induced coma. Bobbie paid a heartfelt tribute to her son, saying: “He had a funny sense of humour and a smile.”

“I’m staying strong because my son struggled with mental health issues. He was an alcoholic. I promised myself I wouldn’t cry when he died, and I haven’t. I know he’s in a better place now. All I ask is for people to pray for my son.”

Bobbie, who also has two daughters and three other sons, was taken to hospital following the ordeal.

Investigation Underway as Survivors Treated

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed the man was found dead on the ground floor. Fire crews also rescued a woman who was hospitalised, along with another who fled before the fire service’s arrival but was later admitted.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at about 4.05pm on Sunday to reports of a fire inside a flat on Netley Road in Brentford. Several nearby properties were evacuated. Emergency services treated three people, sadly one died at the scene.”

The LFB and Met Police have launched a joint probe into the blaze’s cause as the local community reels from the tragedy.
