Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty crash this morning in Chelmsford. At around 8.30am on Thursday, June 9, a silver SUV collided with a young cyclist near the junction of Broomfield Road and Patching Hall Lane.

Child Rushed to Hospital in Critical Condition

The rider, a 12-year-old boy, was rushed to hospital with critical injuries. Emergency teams are still piecing together what happened.
