A few days after being spotted near Leeds, the driver was seen using a £5 note to sniff cocaine before jumping into his lorry and hitting the road. Officers say he was weaving dangerously across lanes, putting everyone’s lives at risk.

“When I hear reports of someone snorting cocaine and driving a lorry, my initial thoughts are of panic and horror,” said TC Matt Harvey, one of the arresting cops. “It’s bad enough snorting cocaine while driving any vehicle, but doing it in a van or large lorry could have catastrophic consequences if involved in an accident.”
Police pursued the drugged-up driver, who later complained, “This is ridiculous,” as he was stopped again and tested positive for cocaine.
