Two Men Arrested Over Finsbury Park Rape Probe

Police have arrested two men over a brutal attack in Finsbury Park. A 24-year-old was snapped up on Wednesday, 7 October, followed by a 25-year-old the very next day. Both face suspicion of rape.

Victim Attacked After Leaving Pub

The horrific incident dates back to 15 July 2019. A 31-year-old woman left a pub in Finsbury Park with the two men. After a short walk in the N4 area, she was attacked. The suspects fled the scene immediately after.

Ongoing Investigation and Support

Both men were taken to east London police stations and have now been released on bail. They’re due back in mid-November as inquiries continue.

The victim remains under the care of specialist officers as the investigation presses on.
