Victim Fights Off Attacker in Shocking Incident
At about 5.30pm on Tuesday 22 June 2021, a man in his 20s was washing his hands in Canterbury Lane’s public loo when a masked thug demanded his mobile phone. The suspect may have been armed with a knife or a bladed weapon.
The victim bravely defended himself and escaped, rushing to a nearby shop for help before alerting police.
Police Seek Key Witness in Brown Jacket and Navy Cap
Officers responded swiftly and have launched enquiries. No arrests yet.
Detectives want to speak to a man spotted nearby at the time. He is described as white, aged 30-40, with brown facial stubble. He wore a navy baseball cap and a thin brown jacket.
